Most "pet-friendly" hotels come with a lot of fine print. "Dogs allowed (but not on the grass)." "Dogs allowed (but must be in the room)."
At KaatiKaadu, located in the serene Vanagoor Estate, we believe that a vacation is only a vacation if the whole family is invited—paws included.
We aren't a cramped city hotel. We are a wide-open nature retreat. For your dog, this means swapping hot concrete sidewalks for cool grass and fresh air.
The "Zoomies" Zone
If you live in the city, you know the struggle of finding a safe place for your dog to just run. Parks have restrictions; streets have traffic.
Here, the estate serves as a massive, private sensory garden.
- The Terrain: Instead of dense, scary jungle, think coffee plantation trails. These are managed paths that are perfect for long, leisurely morning walks where your dog can sniff every leaf and flower in safety.
- The Freedom: It’s plenty of space to fetch a stick, roll in the grass, or just get a serious case of the "zoomies" without worrying about cars.
The Natural Swimming Pool
If your dog loves water, this is going to be their favorite part of the trip.
The Vanagoor Stream runs through our property. Unlike a chlorinated swimming pool (which is bad for their skin) or a rough ocean tide, our stream is gentle, fresh, and clear.
- Shallow & Safe: There are plenty of shallow banks where dogs can just dip their paws or splash around safely.
- The Cool Down: It is the perfect way for them to cool off after a sunny afternoon walk.
Cottage Comforts
We know that dogs come with luggage too—beds, bowls, toys. Our cottages, like "Meenu-Kaati" (Forest view) and "The Leaf & Pahadi" (River front), are spacious enough so you aren't tripping over each other.
There is plenty of floor space for a large dog bed, and the flooring keeps the room naturally cool, which furry guests absolutely love for a nap.
A Few Tips for a "Pawsitive" Stay
We want every guest (two-legged and four-legged) to have a relaxing time.
- Pet Fee: We charge a small, nominal cleaning fee (approx. ₹600/day). This ensures we can deep-clean the room to keep it sparkling for the next guest.
- Tick Protection: While our estate is well-maintained, we are still in nature. We recommend applying a tick spot-on or collar before your trip, just as a precaution.
- Social Etiquette: Since we have other guests and sometimes other dogs on the property, we ask that you keep an eye on your pet to ensure everyone gets along.
